SCOPE CREEP (n) - the client perspective (most likely unconscious) that the additional work that they are asking for is part of the agreement you both signed off on.
More concisely, people believe that they are not asking for anything more than they agreed to.
And it's important to note:
Scope creep can only come from someone that you allow to continue down the path of asking for more and more.
It works like this:
As an entrepreneur or client-facing team corporate team member of a business that is selling services, you are selling TIME. You get paid for THE TIME you spend providing your clients with a solution.
If your clients didn't have a need for your solutions, there wouldn't be a need for you to provide a service, right?
We can imagine your client was stuck. Stuck in between his needs, if you will.
Because they do not have your skills, they feel stuck, limited, and trapped.
You are the solution - the solution to their needs!
